Amir joined Fortium Partners with experience developing software and managing institutional technology across multiple domains including mobile, web, and custom architecture.  A leader characterized by innovation and deep-rooted passion; he is attuned to the nuances of software development as well as the intricacies of executive strategy.  His proficiency extends beyond technology; as Amir adeptly bridges the business-technology divide.  He brings deep technical skills to each challenge as evidenced by his knowledge of numerous programming languages, frameworks, and platforms.  Amir also has a strong consulting background which inspired a client-centric ethos that prioritizes success of his business partners.  He has a track record of providing strategic acumen, technical vision, and operational expertise to accelerate product development projects.  In the C-Suite and when leading IT teams, Amir contributes valuable insights and focuses on actions to ensure enterprise success.

As a CTO, Amir provided hands-on leadership matched by sophisticated technical knowledge.  He has consistently recruited, managed, and coached talented teams to support complex projects.  Amir has been charged with responsibility for cybersecurity, analytics, CRM, IT integration for M&A, and business intelligence, among many critical areas.  A leader in technology for the fast-growth EdTech sector, Amir has championed Agile methodologies, DevSecOps practices, and cloud infrastructure.  He regularly leverages his experience gained building custom architecture and applications solutions for government and commercial clients.  Amir has also advised several HealthTech start-ups and he currently serves as a Commissioner on the Emerging Technology Advisory Commission for Hoffman Estates, IL.

Amir graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from DePaul University.  He received the Vincentian Leadership Award in recognition of his passionate commitment to community service including serving as President of Circle K, the world's premier collegiate service organization.  Later, he completed Harvard’s Cybersecurity: Managing Risk in the Information Age certification.  He is creator and developer of two apps available in the Android Play Store.  A natural builder, Amir enjoys gardening and renovating homes as well as spending time with family.
