As a technology executive, Andrew was involved in all aspects of the business as he led IT roadmap development to ensure a best-in-class platform. His practical approach balanced costs, risk, and resources while his spirit of transformation introduced new systems and functionality. Working closely with vendors, Andrew led both offshoring and re-shoring initiatives aimed at ensuring quality. He has designed and managed software launch, ecommerce transition. and system migration projects with notable success. His devotion to improving processes, productivity, and profitability sparks innovation across an organization. Andrew has deep experience on ERP, CRM, and BI implementations and has moved an ecommerce team to an Agile/DevOps methodology. He also championed security programs to assess and address application, network, firewall, and internal actor vulnerabilities and weaknesses.

Since joining Fortium Partners in 2023 as a founding member of the firm’s practice in Canada, Andrew has guided clients through business and technology transformation initiatives. At a high volume street front charitable organization, he completed an Information Security assessment to identify risk and create a roadmap for remediation and a vastly strengthened security posture. For a prominent association serving financial professionals, he delivered a comprehensive technology assessment and advisory services. Earlier in his career, Andrew advised a major retailer and large hospital group on a range of matters including integrator selection, risk and change management strategies, and ERP and health information systems. Andrew has also coached numerous senior executives, management teams, and business owner clients to achieve improved performance.

Andrew graduated with honors from the University of Waterloo where he earned a Bachelor of Environmental Studies. He has been involved in the CIO Toronto Association and Evanta CIO Forum, a program of Forrester. An active volunteer in the community, his commitments include serving on the board of the Ontario Sustainable Energy Association, at the local food bank weekly, and on committees for the Sea Scouts.
