Andy leads with a customer experience focused approach and passion for new product innovation. Andy guides collaborative, cross-functional teams through product development programs and ensures the outcome is a meaningful, relevant user experience. His expert coding credentials, intellectual curiosity and creative thinking are brought together as he solves complex challenges. A veteran of numerous digital transformation initiatives, Andy balances disruption and process discipline to drive bold product concepts that yield competitive advantage. His broad industry experience spans consumer products, retail, transportation, financial services, and insurance (P&C, life, reinsurance, health). He successfully recruits, grows, and mentors IT professionals to support rapid and profitable corporate growth. Andy puts a laser focus on market trends as he seeks opportunities for disruptive innovation.

As a CTO, Andy developed the strategy and framework to align IT resources with the company mission. He established technology priorities, set project timelines, and engaged contract partners to accelerate product development. His application development skills and engineering knowledge were essential to launch of new products that captured the attention of consumers. Andy understands of the importance of user experience in product innovation and design, so he invests time in meeting with current and prospective customers and listening to their ideas. His practice is broad with specialization in mobile application architecture and development, SaaS product innovation, and digital transformation.

A thought leader on numerous topics, Andy has published articles on insurance strategies for IoT, digital transformation, and WebSphere applications, among many other topics. He has more than 60 patents for social network technology, application server performance, and co-browsing functionality.

Andy graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering. He worked as a student programmer in the University’s famed Applied Research Laboratory, which brought together researchers, scientists, and manufacturing experts since 1945. Away from his desk, Andy spends time with his family, a classic Pontiac Firebird, and in the outdoors where enjoys hunting and fly fishing.
