Armin Roeseler joined Fortium Partners with a versatile style and expert knowledge gained during 25+ years’ experience as a C-level technology executive. Armed with a Ph.D. in computer science, he dives in to assess complex issues and then crafts practical solutions that improve technology operations. He provides executive leadership to achieve digital transformations through application of eCommerce solutions and advanced analytics complemented by better alignment of people, processes and technology. Armin is an innovative change agent who creates value by delivering technology that implements business strategies and resolves business challenges.  His practice focuses on manufacturing, retail, and financial services firms while advising both small-to-medium sized companies and Fortune 500 enterprises. Armin is recognized as a strong mentor, coach and team builder with the ability to collaborate across organizations, build buy-in and align resources to drive technology programs.

As a CIO for two retailers, Armin advanced technology to drive profitable growth.  He - championed complex initiatives to improve the customer experience by migrating key systems to the cloud.  He introduced solutions for compliance, launched mobile applications, built business intelligence capabilities, and reduced operational expenses while driving digital transformation across the enterprise. As a Fortium Partner, Armin has advised clients on strategic programs to transform global operations and create competitive advantage.  His projects have involved launch of a data hub, strengthening systems reliability, increasing scalability, business unit reporting, and disaster recovery, among many areas of accomplishment.  He brings a broad and deep knowledge of IT operations and strategy to bear on each engagement.

Armin holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Illinois Institute of Technology, a Master’s Degree in Computer and Information Science from New Jersey Institute of Technology and a Dipl.-Ing. in Electrical Engineering from Hochschule-Hannover in Hannover, Germany. He has been ranked 25th on InformationWeek’s Elite 100 List of IT Leaders, recognized for innovative uses of business technology and analytics. Armin was named a CIO 100 Award Winner for the development of a retail mobile shopping app with patent pending image recognition technology. He is a published author, public speaker, US Patent holder and Fulbright Fellow trained in Six Sigma methodologies.
