Art joined Fortium Partners with global leadership experience across diverse industries including associations, nonprofits, manufacturing, distribution, and field service.  His expertise is digital transformation, turnaround leadership, process improvement, strategic use of technology, and adding value to existing or new products and services.  Art’s focus is to work closely with his IT team, peers, and vendors to identify opportunities that can be developed into a competitive advantage. He has led technology assessment, software evaluation, software implementation, requirements planning, and security reviews at private and public companies. Art has solid experience planning and then transitioning complex systems through merger and acquisition activity.  He has managed successful projects for manufacturing locations across the US, Ireland, Mexico, and China. 

As a CIO, Art rapidly assesses the technology needs of the business and creates a roadmap based upon strategy and opportunity.  He has designed digital transformation projects and moved them from concept to successful completion. With a deep commitment to collaboration and effective communication, he has managed global ERP implementations and ecommerce projects.  His problem-solving ability shines as he drives process improvement initiatives utilizing existing technologies with a growth focus.  While serving as COO, he directed structural change programs to strengthen operational effectiveness and culture.

Art graduated with Bachelor of Science in Finance and a Master of Science in Management Information Systems from Northern Illinois University.  He continued his professional development achieving Certified Scrum Master, Registered Scrum@Scale Practitioner, Certified in Cybersecurity℠, and COMPTIA Project+ credentials. Active in industry associations, Art is involved with the Project Management Institute, Association of Information Technology Professionals, IEEE Computer Society, and ISACA. He is a competitive runner and enjoys backyard smoking of a variety of foods with custom seasonings.
