Chris Boult is a Partner in Fortium Partners’ South Central Practice, where he primarily serves hospitality, travel, retail, and restaurant clients. His experience includes leading IT for public and private equity-owned companies as well as advising clients as a partner of a global consultancy. His credentials in strategic planning, solution delivery, and organizational optimization are complemented by a passion for business innovation and excellence. Chris excels in transforming underperforming technology organizations and leading global teams through change management programs. He effectively engages both staff and leadership peers to achieve improvements in performance, quality, and service delivery.
As a CIO, Chris led core technology functions and transformation initiatives with a direct impact on profitability and the customer experience. He increased brand engagement and loyalty by focusing on mobile and e-commerce capabilities that supported new product offerings. He has also built out multiple customer experience platforms to generate insights on customer behavior, drive revenue growth, and improve operational efficiencies. Chris has solid experience leading global IT teams, transitioning to a variety of offshore models, and building out shared services capabilities. In corporate settings and as a consultant, Chris has implemented new systems to support targeted merchandising and drive revenue optimization.
As a volunteer business mentor, Chris volunteers with the Dallas Entrepreneurial Center, RevTech Ventures, and the University of Texas in Dallas. He serves on the Advisory Board of Betterez, a reservations & ticketing platform built to transform bus & coach travel, and Maxxsure, a cyber risk management firm.
Chris received a Bachelor of Arts with honors from Lancaster University in the United Kingdom. He speaks French, German, and Italian. He is an Advisory Board Member for the Neeley School of Business at Texas Christian University.
