Craig joined Fortum Partners with deep experience in the rapidly evolving field of healthcare.  Skilled in the art and science of project management, his teams have implemented significant programs that emphasize quality, patient care, and customer service through alignment of business, technology, and community needs.  Craig has a robust knowledge of the systems and infrastructure required to support varied healthcare environments – integrated delivery systems, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, multi-specialty group practices, cancer centers, and clinics.  He has championed implementation of electronic health records, financial and revenue cycle systems, care coordination programs for population health., and complex projects to expand the reach of telemedicine.  Craig has held responsibility of the HIPAA Security Officer and launched cybersecurity initiatives.  He led the development and operation of Project Portfolio Councils at multiple organizations as well as implementation of a telemedicine solutions for behavioral health and neurology consults.

As a CIO, Craig delivered sophisticated healthcare and business IT solutions that won industry recognition.  He managed all IT service lines, instilled process discipline, and instituted IT governance for integrated healthcare systems with a variety of operating units.  With deep experience in applications development, Craig guided the strategic planning, budgeting, and implementation of leading information systems designed for the healthcare industry.  His priorities included implementation of a healthcare information exchange, digital strategy initiatives, and cloud migration.  As a senior leader, Craig also championed program and project management.

Craig graduate with highest honors from Rochester Institute of Technology, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Systems Administration and Management.  Earlier, he studied math and computer science at Lock Haven University.  He has continued his professional development while becoming a Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS) and Certified Healthcare CIO (CHCIO) from the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME).  He has been active in the Rochester RHIO (HIE), Rural Health Network of South-Central NY, the Project Management Institute, and the InfraGard FBI Security Association.  Craig has spoken and presented on a variety of topics at various Healthcare IT conferences.  Outside of the office, he is an avid golfer, enjoys travel, and plays the guitar.
