Dave is a global security leader who focuses on cyber security, data protection, and risk management. He designs, manages and executes strategies that improve organizational and security effectiveness for enterprise wide. Dave mitigates security risks and incidents through technology implementations, employee training initiatives, and strong governance frameworks. His forte is development of cybersecurity programs in multi-cloud environments. Dave enables companies of all sizes stay in compliance with evolving federal, state, and local security regulations. His leadership experience includes addressing existing and new requirements for Sarbanes-Oxley, PCI, COPPA, GDPR, NIST and other standards. An entrepreneural, innovative, and collaborative leader, he always anticipates the next challenge and drives toward high-impact solutions.

As a CISO, Dave has provided global leadership on complex IT governance, regulatory compliance, and M&A integration matters. He is a strategic problem solver who works to develop creative and actionable approaches. A strong business acumen guides his decision making.  David emphasizes business value, quality, and optiization of service, system integrity, and stability. He has a collaborative spirit and fosters effective relationships as his teams partner with program oficers and auditors. Dave has proven experience as a virtual CISO called to repair or turnaround a security organization.

Dave graduated from Wichita State University with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a minor in Business Administration and Economics. Licensed by FINRA with a Series 99, he also holds cloud platform certifications from AWS and Google. Dave is a Certified Chief Information Security Officer (CCISO), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM). He enjoys spending time with his family and attending a full calendar of youth sports events.
