Jesús Mathus joined Fortium Partners with extensive experience developing technology solutions for retail and healthcare enterprises.  He has worked with privately held, private equity-backed, and public enterprises undergoing immense industry change.  Jesús maintains a steady focus on improving financial results while driving IT transformation.  His knowledge of supply chain matters is matched by a commitment to customer service.  He is recognized as a thought leader on retail information systems.  Bilingual in English and Spanish, he has held senior executive roles with leading companies serving the Hispanic market. 

As a CIO, Jesús led the development of the IT roadmap to support rapid expansion and profitability.  He integrated several acquisitions and successfully reduced operating expenses.  He improved the IT infrastructure, implemented supply chain applications, and launched business intelligence programs.  His efforts and leadership strengthened the workforce through learning management and labor scheduling systems.  Jesús also created a project management office to support all IT strategic initiatives at a Fortune 500 company.

With additional experience as a consultant, supply chain leader, CFO, and Advisory Board Member, Jesús offers a diverse perspective with distinctive credentials.  His industry knowledge is grounded in practice while driven by innovative applications and strategic evaluation.  He leads large teams with grace with through M&A integration, complex turnarounds, and digital transformation challenges.

Jesús graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Systems and a Master in Business Administration from Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITSEM).  He completed a postgraduate degree in banking and credit at the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM).  He enjoys hiking, trekking, and camping with his family.
