He has used his in-depth experience in Lean and Agile to strengthened throughput, quality, and cost-effective delivery in public and private company settings. His industry credentials span retail, distribution, manufacturing, insurance, automotive, and pharmaceutical/biotechnology. John attended the United States Air Force Academy and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Economics, then held contract and procurement roles during his USAF service. He continued is education at the University System of Maryland where he earned a Master of Arts in Management & Public Administration from member institution Bowie State University. His academic pursuits culminated with completion of a Doctor of Business Administration from Florida Institute of Technology. His dissertation focused on organizational digital agility and its impact on digital transformation efforts, a reflection of his deep commitment to advancing the field of digital innovation. John was named as Inspire CIO’s first Michigan CIO of the Year (Global Category) and CIO 100 among several honors.
