John leads with a creative approach to problem solving and a passion for innovation. He joined Fortium Partners with diverse mix of experience in the public and private sectors and senior leadership role in a variety of health, business, and tech settings. His expansive knowledge of business and technology transformation is matched by notable achievements in product development. John develops collaborative relationships with business unit leaders, boards, government, and vendors. He recruits and mentors technology teams on complex ERP implementations and fully engages them on strategic initiatives. John is equally comfortable driving change in complex Fortune 500 organizations and smaller, entrepreneurial situations.

An experienced CIO, John moves from strategy to execution as he leads teams on complex, enterprise levelprojects. His ability to leverage data and analytics has fueled new product development and sparked business transformation in private and public companies. Committed to driving profitable growth for the enterprise, Johnleverages systems and partnerships while strengthening operations and processes. He embraces new and emergingtechnologies as he designs an IT roadmap. John has led teams in entrepreneurial and Fortune 500 environments as well as government settings. His industry experience includes healthcare, consumer products, technology, and entertainment. John's leadership style is infused with curiosity and creativity.

John graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities from the University of Tennessee Chattanooga. He continued his education and earned a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in International Business from the University of South Carolina and Waseda University, Tokyo. He also attended an executive program in IT strategy and management at MIT Sloan. A thought leader on ERP, John authored two books published by McGraw Hill on the challenges of integrating business systems throughout the enterprise. Residing in Vermont, he enjoys outdoor activities amidst the beauty of the natural environment and volunteers as a member of the South BurlingtonDevelopment Review Board charged with reviewing community growth and sustainability.
