Mike Reed is recognized as a leader in data and systems integration, information product design and development, big data implementations, data security and privacy. His top priority is to provide decision makers with timely and accurate information to propel organizational success and sustainability. He is highly regarded as mentor and adept at motivating technology teams to collaborate on complex projects and corporate initiatives.
Mike has held senior leadership positions in fast-growth healthcare companies as well as with mature publicly-held organizations. He is a veteran of ten mergers and acquisitions, successfully integrating technical teams, managing integration budgets and aligning operations with business strategy. His knowledge of data privacy and security is extensive including HIPAA matters.
As a Partner in Fortium Partners’ Midwest region, Mike leverages his vast career experience to serve health care, pharmacy benefit, automotive, and data services companies. With valuable experience partnering with industry leading data organizations, he develops IT strategy and roadmaps, leads big data implementations, and creates data integration strategies.
Mike graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Michigan State University, a Master of Science in Analytics from the University of Michigan, and a Master of Business Administration in Management Information Systems and Operations from Wayne State University. He holds professional credentials including The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF), Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) – Master (ICCP), Certified Business Intelligence Professional (CBIP) – Master Level (TDWI), and Data Vault Enterprise Data Modeling, among many.
Fluent in Spanish, he resides permanently in the US and is fully authorized to work also in the European Union countries.
