Dr. Oliver Degnan joined Fortium Partners with diverse experience as a senior technology executive, business strategist, and entrepreneur. He has strong product development capabilities, an innovation mindset, and a people-centric leadership style. Oliver is ready to tackle complex challenges and eager to promote digital transformation by embracing emerging technologies. In addition, his financial and business acumen sharpens an organization’s focus on profitable growth, budget management, and pursuit of attractive market opportunities. Oliver capitalizes on more than 15 years of C-suite experience in healthcare and technology innovation. 

As a CIO, Oliver led diverse talent in aligning IT investments with business strategy and corporate mission. He reengineered technical support, improved service stability, introduced cloud and visualization solutions, and instilled adequate data governance and cybersecurity practices. In addition, he drove numerous product commercialization initiatives and propelled the development of new platforms and systems. 

As CTO, Oliver spearheaded digital transformation and modernization efforts across complex health systems. He also improved analytics and reporting and established a responsive, agile IT culture while managing multimillion-dollar budgets and global teams exceeding 1,200 members. 

As product and health-system-wide Chief Architect, he collaborated with strategic partners and marketing colleagues to execute bold concepts. As a result, Oliver is mission-driven with unparalleled strategic vision and clarity to his clients.

As the Founder of MoreTalent, an artificial intelligence platform to improve the new hire employee experience and increase employee retention, Oliver was responsible for business strategy and technology innovation, including an AI-enabled SaaS platform. He is an active member of the Association for Corporate Growth, an advisor to the Society for Information Management, and a member of the Golden Angels Investors.

Oliver graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, with a Bachelor of Arts in German Literature and an Executive Master of Business Administration. As a thought leader and author on artificial intelligence, he recently obtained a Doctorate of Business Administration at the University of Wisconsin, Whitewater.  Bilingual in English and German, Oliver has dual citizenship for the U.S. and Germany.
