Reinhard Meister joined Fortium Partners with a global business perspective and comprehensive IT leadership experience.  He is a strategic thinker with a market orientation gained during nearly thirty years serving multi-national companies.  Across his career, Reinhard has worked with stakeholders to transform results and achieve operational excellence.  He unlocks technology and data to generate business growth while optimizing the complete IT infrastructure to reduce total cost of ownership and increase profitability. His credentials include deep knowledge of the food and beverage sector, supply chain, and financial services industry.  Across his career, Reinhard has developed talented, collaborative teams in multi-cultural environments.

As a CEO, Reinhard formulated the business strategy and established from scratch a major IT services company.  He designed, built and implemented the end-to-end business operating systems for its customers in adopting agile delivery and DevOps methodology to provide faster business capability at a lower cost. Always a champion of operational excellence, he prioritized and achieved delivery of a distinctive, consistent customer experience. 

As a CIO, his key initiatives included consolidation of IT operations across 28 countries, building a data and analytics team, and leading IT field support.  He steered launch of global platforms, cloud migration projects, and process improvement programs.  He also directed program management for launch of SaaS solutions such as MS Azure, SAP, Blue Yonder, Salesforce, and ServiceNow, among many platforms. His technology teams worked closely with business unit partners to propel enterprise success.

Reinhard graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration and Economics from Fachhochschule FH Zurich.  He continued with post-graduate studies in management excellence at IMD in Lausanne and in IT and process management at SGO Zurich.  He is a dual citizen of the US and Switzerland, who speaks English, German, and everyday French. Reinhard is a passionate skier who enjoys resorts around the world.
