Sean champions business transformation with a commitment to innovation and cross-functional collaboration. He puts a laser focus on product strategy, digital delivery, client experience and F2B optimization. Sean has proven experience introducing new and emerging technologies on a global basis. His two decades in the financial services industry yielded valuable knowledge of how to navigate risk and regulatory requirements. Sean focuses on implementation of robust controls to meet the challenges of an evolving cybersecurity environment. He has led high-performing teams through new business launches, complex cloud migrations, agile adoptions, and cost optimization. Sean delivers expert advice on how to streamline and automate key operations to enable rapid growth and achieve scale in a cost-efficient manner.

A proven global CIO, Sean builds high-performing teams from the ground up that are ready to tackle complex projects. He guides the evaluation, adoption, and integration of new technology in support of enterprise strategy. His fintech credentials include building the first digital-led wealth management platform in China. Sean works closely with vendors and C-suite peers to identify cost efficiencies available through process improvement and automation. He has prepared businesses for sale and handled IT aspects of post-merger integration. Sean drives innovation in product features while also ensuring risk management and cybersecurity. In addition to living and working in China for two decades, he has launched new businesses in EMEA, APAC, and South America -- entirely from scratch. Sean is fully equipped to deliver successful solutions for companies of any size and has industry expertise in fintech, supply chain, insuretech and ecotech. 

Sean graduated from Union College and later earned a Master’s degree from Cornell University, where he continues to serve as a coach and mentor in the entrepreneurship program. In addition, he has served as a coach, mentor, and judge for Mass Challenge, a leading nonprofit organization which connects startups, experts, corporations, and communities to grow and transform businesses and economies. Sean enjoys traveling around the world to explore new regions and to revisit countries where he has lived and worked. He is an avid sportsman and currently in training for a marathon.
