Steve delivers strategic vision and financial acumen as he guides complex organizations on their technology journey.  He seeks out opportunities to drive digital innovation and to propel business transformation.  Steve works closely with executive peers to build revenue, increase profitability, and strengthen the brand.  He has automated multiple mission-critical systems and modernized IT infrastructure to ensure a competitive stance and protect against cybersecurity threats.  His keen ability to migrate systems and explore up and coming technologies sparks new products and solutions that positively impact the customer experience.  He is known for building strong relationships with team members, partners, clients, vendors, and stakeholders.  Steve’s leadership style is marked by integrity, approachability, and collaboration.

As a CIO, Steve championed alignment of IT and corporate strategy.  His priorities included cloud services, IT modernization, and scalable technology.  He conducted a thorough evaluation of cybersecurity risks and led creation of a data protection system.  Steve instilled discipline in project management and led completion of more than 200 significant projects in a year.  Notably, he played an integral role in implementation of a connected vehicle technology program and expanded the platform to support worldwide use including Canada and Japan.  With a commitment to building a best-in-class workplace, he led an infrastructure refresh across 40 facilities and improved employee performance while building a better corporate culture.  While migrating legacy systems to multi-cloud environment, he achieved increased flexibility and responsiveness.  Steve is known for managing budgets with aplomb and his savvy approach to vendor negotiations. 

Steve graduated from Indiana University Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems and continued on to LaSalle University, where he earned a Master’s in Business Administration with a concentration in finance.  Passionate about sports and fitness, he has competed in Ironman events, charity bike rides, and triathlons including one requiring a swim from Alcatraz to San Francisco.  Steve also coached youth basketball for many years.
