Tim Voss capitalizes on the technical experience and leadership perspective gained at Fortune 500 companies as well as small start-ups. In CTO and CISO roles, he has championed IT and business alignment. As an architect of digital transformation initiatives, Tim focuses on enterprise goals and creating technology solutions and organizational structures to achieve those goals. His global viewpoint benefits complex organizations and entrepreneurial firms looking to craft technology strategies to compete for market share and grow revenue. He collaborates with key stakeholders to design and implement new applications and improve processes. In addition to driving change in non-regulated industries including retail, hospitality, and consumer packaged goods, Tim has exposure to highly regulated environments including financial services firms. He leads with a commitment to transparency, empowerment, and accountability.
As a CTO, Tim leveraged technology to delight consumers and create loyal clients. His remit included development of new ecommerce platforms and applications designed to spark profitable growth. He addressed retail point of sale systems, pricing models, and data security to manage costs, enhance user experience, and add value. Tim has also implemented ERP programs and directed cloud migration programs to strengthen operations globally. As a CISO, he reconstituted cybersecurity and IT governance, managed risk and compliance reviews, and led enterprise-wide training to build awareness. Tim has served on the customer advisory boards of Cisco, Symantec, Lenovo, and other leading technology companies.
Tim graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Plymouth. He continued his professional development with leadership training courses at NYU Stern School of Business and The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Tim obtained a patent for a method and system of assessing risk using a one-dimensional risk assessment model. Having hung up his rugby cleats, he now enjoys playing tennis and traveling to the major tournaments.
