Vishal joined Fortium Partners with stellar credentials in software development, product management, and data science. He has applied his analytical skills and design talents to challenges in ecommerce, publishing, and financial services including consumer banking and insurance. Vishal has built innovative, scalable applications that disrupt traditional channels and markets. He leverages his deep technical knowledge to collaborate with colleagues on the development and launch of new products. Comfortable working in both start-ups and complex corporate environments, Vishal enjoys and thrives in a rapid pace environment. His success leading large teams reflects a real commitment to coaching and mentoring technology professionals.

As a senior technology executive, Vishal focused on building roadmaps, managing teams, and enabling business growth.  Leveraging his academy training with IBM, Vishal tackled complex challenges with a disciplined approach and solutions orientation.  He also partnered with C-Suite peers and business unit colleagues to manage due diligence during several acquisitions and fundraising programs.  As a product leader, Vishal is recognized for leading successful creation and launch of new ventures powered by technology, innovation, and scalable and stable software design.  He conceptualized, patented and built novel features using a combination of machine learning algorithms and behavioral science techniques to benefit the user experience.  Vishal established a solid relationship with business risk colleagues as they worked together to ensure data privacy, PII encryption, and GDPR/ECOA compliance.

Vishal graduated with a Master of Science in Computer Science from Columbia University where he was awarded two Teaching Assistantship awards and a Graduate Research Assistantship.  His undergraduate studies in information technology were completed at Cochin University of Science and Technology.  Passionate about the startup community, he serves on the judging panel of the Webby awards and is an angel investor in more than ten companies.  Outside of the office, Vishal enjoys time with his family.
